Hey Guys!

Since joing [EEF] ive had nothing but grief using the URS combogib server.

Constant flaming about being in this clan - how lame i am for my high efficiency and fragcount, defending base etc etc

For those of you that dont know me, im a retired TDM player - Ive played clanbase cup matches going back to 2003 winning Gold a couple of times. Ive also been in Div1 clans and played with the arguably the best players in the world....

My skill is low now, but the fact that i come from TDM kinda makes me a frag machine - i like to frag!!! yes yes i know its CTF, but thats why you will either find me defending the base/flag or covering a flag carrier.

I would like to be a an attacker - but sadly im not, i dont have the map knowledge in CTF and well its quite frankly a different MOD to what im used to playing.

OK so to the point - if its going to cause [EEF] problems me being in this clan, then i will step down form being [EEF] and perhaps forget the whole idea of being in a clan - tbh i do love combogib and i like to play for fun, but some kids out there are just to serious.

Anyway, if management want to discuss further my participation in this clan and let me know if they would like me to leave then i will completely understand.

It's been great to meet new friends in [EEF] and to play this fun mod, I had no idea I would enjoy playing combogib and essentially CTF when I have only ever known TDM.

If I'm totally honest I've enjoyed it more than I ever thought. And just recently had my first combogib fun war against URS. A close game but it's come with consequences with all the heckling on the URS server over me being in a fun clan and just the feeling that something just isn't right about being in a fun clan.

I've been asked more than a dozen times about me being in CoD and why am I playing for [EEF] id simply reply that CoD don't play combogib and that I was just having fun.

I think the problem I have personally is I don't know where I fit in UT atm, ive spent a long time playing this game and enjoying it. Some of you may know or may not know of "clanbase" and the sad demise of it over this year which left a lot of ppl wondering what now.

I think this is where I found [EEF] and the fun friends and games ive played within EEF. But for me it isn't a substitute for clanbase and competitive gaming.

I've come to a difficult decision and decided to hand my [EEF] tag in and go back to IRC and the channels where I'm known.

I hope to continue playing with [EEF] players and Urs players on the publics and privates matches.
